Quick note: Wingman

Types of wingmen explored.

Wingman The one that makes you look good. This type of wingman you bring to the bar because beside him you look good. You are better looking, have a better job, and you're more interesting.

The arm candy: This is the type of wingman you bring to the bar to attract women. Chances are he is better looking than you, but a complete dud personality wise. He will attract the girls over, and once they realize how weird or boring he is, you can swoop in and get the kill.

The team mate: You both bring out the best in each other. 2 positives. Yu bring this wingman because you compliment each other, and let off a positive energy as a team. Worst case scenario you'll go out for a plutonic male booty call (late night food)

The female: Just being with a girl makes other girls more attracted to you.

I like living in the moment, but it pisses me off that other people are able to do it.

TOP TEN: KARMA Boosts

top ten Karma boosters. You can do all of these right now and you will instantly feel better about your life.

10. Send random 'thank you' cards to the people that have helped you in life (last year). "Romance cards" and "Support cards" are available at cards n' such and are incredibly cute and creative. Go buy a few and send them to people you care about and to all the people who have helped you feel happy or successful (narrow it down of course). Send them in the mail to show them that you took time.
9. Make your bed. You spend almost half the day in there, so show it some respect. An organized bed also looks more appealing to a potential love partner.
8. Cook yourself (and someone else if possible) a meal at least once a week. The process of making food is good for the soul and arouses our 'nurturing genetics'.
7. Compliment random people. Compliment random people for random acts, even if it is just a smile. For example, "tell a crossing guard that they are doing a great job". You will likely receive positivity back.
6. Spend time with an animal. Animals are slaves to your projected emotions. Spend time with an animal. Projecting love onto him/her/it will make you feel extra special.
5. Clean your room. An organized room gives you a sense of starting fresh, and isn't that what we all want to do at times; start again.
4. don't just chuck your shoes at the door; put them away side by side. You spend the whole day in your shoes. They mold to your weight and energy, so respect them. A mountain of shoes at the front of a house symbolizes a chaotic house.
3. Tell your mom and/or dad how much you love them. Just let them know you care. You will feel better.
2. Indulge in some nostalgia. Look at old pictures, watch an old favorite TV show, do something you used to love to do. We are our memories, so don't let them become history. You're alive revisit the good stuff you have stored in your head.
1. Tell that 'special someone' why they are special and don't demand or even expect a response. Just telling them is enough to boost your karma 2X over.

Whispering.

Body Energy the brain storm

Idea: The human whisperer experiment.

Task: try to learn how to control my projected energy so as to 'whisper' a situation.

Whispering: Controlling or making someone 'at peace' by projecting the right emotion onto them. Eventually turning a situation or room into an efficent and creative work/relationship.

Whispering isn't literally whispering, or quiet talking. Whispering, as in horse whispering, is all about projecting energy onto an animal in order to make them feel that emotion. For example, in a nut shelf, you being around me in a really good mood will eventually lead to you being in a good mood. With animals, they interpret energies in positive and negative and adopt which ever one is most dominant.

Positive energies sources: How to project positive energy onto someone and get them to feel better.

smiles, laughter, stillness, happy, delighted, eating, talking about stuff you like and feeling engaged in the conversation, good hygene, . etc...

Dogs see this: This shows an alert energized pack. No one will attack us as we are alive and healthy.

Negative energies: hesitating, nervous, uncertainty, grumpyness, anger, frustrated, upset, really sad, depressed, etc..

Dogs see these emotions as a threat to the pack. Since these emotions lead to a weak posture, slow movements, and lack of external awareness; all signs of vulnerablity to predators. Dogs hide sickness as a survival technique.

However, quiet often it is whoever's energy is the strongest in the room that is dominating the room. For example: when around someone who is mouring the loss of a loved one it is inconsistent with the energy of the room to add laughter and extreme positive energy.

energy calculations are consistent with math:

- + - = + adding sadness to sadness equals a positive empathy feeling. This can project a positive emotion. And the room will feel 'lighter'.

- + + = - it will result in more negative energy if you try to add an unjustified positive emotion.
+ + + = + adding laughter to laughter gets more...obviously.
+ + - = - adding negative energy to a positive environment will be felt and spark some negativity at first.

To be investigated....

Sundance

Thursday Jan 15th

1st day in Park City, Sundance

today was a day where the stars aligned. Even people were surviving plane crashes. This news made yesterday feel very special. I arrived in Utah around 2 in the afternoon mountain time after barely making the connecting flight from Colorado. In order to get to Salt Lake we flew over the Colorado Rockies and this was a beautiful site. At times it felt like we were flying between mountains as the altitude is so high. When we landed we were informed that our bags were ‘delayed’ so we had to request that they be brought to us and dropped off later in the night. Next we took a shuttle to our chalet in ‘Park City’. Park City is about an hour out of Salt Lake. It looks like an upscaled version of Mount Tremblant village. Chair lifts run right into town. Year round the locals wait for this festival and when it hits town everything is about the festival. Prices are raised and every store, restaurant and bar has Sundance Film festival specials. Our chalet is home to 12 people, all of who worked on the film or are drinking buddies of ours. We have a hot tub, a theatre screening room, a ping pong table and a large hill for tobaganing. The one thing that has been most unsuspected is the altitude sickness. I have been short of breath and woozy since we landed. My brother Dillon, Jay and I went into Park City to a bar and had dinner and drinks. You have to become a member at each bar you go to and this entails a 5 dollar membership price and plus 2 dollar cover. Beer has a 3.2% alcohol content and State rules insist that all shots (we immediately got tequila shots) only be filled half way up the glass. Something to the effect of the amount of ounces they’re allowed to serve at once. We headed home after 6 beers and a conversation with some USC students who were in town to watch. On the way home we took a karaoke taxi which was amazing. There was a whole sound system and microphone in the van. Jay, the musical boy wonder, belted out a rendition of ‘The Cars’ ‘Just what I needed” and added a Dracula laugh to it. Then the hot tub, then couldn’t breath because of the altitude so hit the sack.

Had a dream in which I was up on stage, in Park City Utah, with Cold Play. All eyes were on me and when it came to my turn to sing I was distracted. My ear was being talked off by someone (can’t rememeber who) while the crowd was waiting, in frustration for me to sing. In the dream I didn’t have the balls to stop the yaking stranger to tell them it was my time to sing. I never sang and the crowd eventually booed me off stage.

Friday

It just hit me how amazing this experience is. We have a film in the biggest film festival in the world. Mickey Rorke and Bret Easton Ellis (guy who wrote American Psycho) collaborated on a film and it is premiering here. The tag line is ‘sex, drugs and new wave’. That sounds like the dream movie to me, and it is playing in the same festival as my film. I have seen some celebs already. The guy from ‘Brick’ and ‘3rd Rock from the Sun’. I did an interview for the National Post in a backstage room and we were surrounded by directors, producers and actors. I am granted back stage access everywhere which also means free soft drinks and snacks at all festival designated stops. Tonight is the first screening of ‘Captain Coulier’. My altitude sickness is even worse today, and I am about to lie down before I get dressed up for the biggest night of my life, thus far on planet earth. Surprisingly there are a lot of brazillian people living in Park City, which I see as a good sign seeing as I have always wanted to visit Brazil. I also have a liking for Brazilian women.
Interesting tid bit: Park city designates itself the ‘Amsterdam’ of Utah. A truly hippy/left wing village surrounded by conservatism.

quick blog from Sundance.

This is the first chance I have had to do any blogging since I have been in Park City Utah. It is amazing here. Probably the most beautiful place I have ever been. I now know why the Utah Jazz use the colors white purple and pink. The Utah area (Salt Lake out to Park City about an hour drive) is surronded with rolling white mountains and every night as the sun sets the sky turns purple and pink. It's a beautiful sight.

The air is incredibly dry and there are no bodies of water near. I have been experiencing nose bleeds and for the first two days I suffered from altitude sickness.

Our film Coulier has been very well received. I am being recognized (a few times anyway) and people are yelling 'Coulier' @ me. Our film has been sold out everyday. I met one group of people that watched the movie 4 times in a row.

I will add more later. but I am about to go to a party with Woddy Harrelson .

Rotti discrimination

Just because I'm white doesn't mean I can't handle spicy food.

They laugh everytime I order a hot Rotti.

Yesterday I asked for a chicken rotti hot, but not white guy hot; black guy hot.

I got white guy extra spicy which is like black guy medium.

I am going to go back and insist that they treat me like I am black.

New Year

I made a ton of new years resolutions. All surronding being a better person, and more efficent and more positive, blah blah. One of my first resolutions involved organizing my paper clad room. I grabbed my journal from 2006 from under a pile of leaf paper and I noticed I had the exact same new years resolutions as I have now. To a T. This instantly made me doubt my resolutions and ability to commit.

Ways to feel better instantly

Make your bed
Tidy all the shoes in front of your house
Say hi to a stranger
take a deep breath
